Thinking practically about the church’s mission

For over twenty years Keith and his wife Beverly lived and served in Budapest, Hungary where they raised their three children. Keith has served in a variety of capacities— Bible teacher and storyteller, English instructor, pastoral roles, youth ministry, as well as in customer service, retail, and warehouse roles. Currently, he resides in Chicago where he and Beverly can live close to their daughters and grandson. He enjoys nature and just being outdoors as well as reading about history and culture. He is passionate about helping North American and European churches embrace God’s work in their own communities.

His essay “Storytelling the Gospel in Hungary: Zooming in on an Ancient Mode of Communication” appeared in the Fall 2021 issue of the Great Commission Research Journal. He has a doctorate of ministry degree in Church Growth and Multiplication from Talbot School of Theology as well as an undergraduate degree in Christian Missions. His doctoral dissertation addressed the need for churches to embrace contextualization in a biblical and holistic way.
